Cinemosity talks about the shocking passing of Charlie Murphy at the young age of 57, his battle with Leukemia was kept quiet. There’s news of other sad passes and then we have BABIES! Plenty of shadenfreude including the continuing dumbassery of Tyrese, Carmello Anthony being a cheating asshole and more! Then there’s movie news such as the huge success of The Fate of the Furious and early word on how Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is shaping up!

Then our movie is Universal Soldier, the 1992 starring vehicle for Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren featuring an early collaboration between Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich on their way to creating Independence Day. Universal Soldier is a modest little action movie that holds up pretty well, check out the spoiler section where Martin talks about the far darker original ending and the anti-military sentiment that was edited out after the Gulf War!

Next time our movie is Vampire In Brooklyn, co-written by Charlie Murphy and starring his brother Eddie and the magical Angela Bassett! It’s on Hulu and Amazon Prime.
